What I offer
As well as 10 years of experience as a psychotherapist, have specialist knowledge, training and experience in working with couples, relationships and addictions, with full understanding of 12-step programmes and other addiction recovery modalities.
I can work with you for a few sessions to tackle a particular life challenge or on a longer-term basis for ongoing therapy. We would normally start with a free 20 minute session to get to know each other, then if you want to move forward, we would do six sessions and then have a review, to see if you wish to continue therapy.
My working style can change depending on your particular challenge. Mostly my work is Person-Centred and Integrative. For one-to-one therapy and coaching, this means that I draw from all different modalities and practices when it benefits the client, such as CBT, motivational interviewing, Gestalt, arts psychotherapy, sand tray work, constellations, mindfulness, hypnotherapy, psycho-education and inner child work.
